On my birthday 2 days ago, I lost a dear friend and my son lost his Grandpa Roger. Roger always loved Sean like his own. . . since he was a baby, and had a special place in his heart for him. He went out of his way to take care of him. . . and even help him with his school homework for the last 2 years to make sure he did well. . . right down to ordering Seans favorite ice cream from the ice cream company. . . . he did so much, and cared so much, and had the biggest heart of gold.
He did what every Grandpa would do. . . spend time with, teach, love, and spoil. . .
He would always say "I love that kid to death" . . and he did.
He took Sean & I on Sean's very first theme park adventure to Seaworld. . . one which my son will never forget.
He will live in our hearts forever and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
Rest in Peace sweet Roger ~ and a million thanks for being there for us, and especially for Seany.
My sincerest condolences go out to Gwen and her family during this time of loss.
